Slingo Boom is a type of Slingo game that you can play at Slingo.com and Britain’s Got Talent Games in a choice of rooms including Freebie, Party, Gold, and Star. Boom uses classic bingo gameplay in a multiplayer format, and the aim is to beat your fellow roomies to a full house Slingo jackpot. The prize amount for each game depends on how many players buy tickets and at what price. So, one minute, you could be playing for as much as £80, and the next, you could be playing for just £5 in the Freebie Room but without having to pay for your cards.
Slingo Boom – How It Looks
More About Slingo Boom
Slingo Boom is currently the only Slingo variant that you can play with other people. This is because it’s based on the traditional game of bingo, but also has a unique and exciting Slingo twist.
To get started, you’ll need to choose which room you wish to play in. The Freebie Room allows you to play for modest prizes cost-free; the Star Room is where the big wins can be found; the Party room runs budget games, and the Gold room offers generous jackpots.
Once you’ve entered your chosen room, you’ll be prompted to pick a chat room name. Once you’ve done this, the chat window loads up, along with a pop-up that shows you when the next game is due to start and how much the tickets cost.
At the top of the Slingo Boom game screen, you can see how many players are participating in the current game, the total prize fund, and how many spins you have remaining. Below it, there’s a five-by-five grid containing numbers, and below the grid, there are five reels, one row high.
Instead of numbered balls being called every few seconds as you’ll see in online bingo games, the reels are spun instead. Each spin results in five numbers or symbols.
The aim of Slingo Boom is to match the numbers that appear on the reels with the numbers on your card/grid. Each game uses either a special pattern or a coverall. If you’re the first person to mark off all of the numbers that make up the pattern or all of the numbers on the grid if you’re playing a coverall game, you win the full house prize. Some Slingo Boom games also have three prizes up for grabs, which are awarded for one line, two lines, and a full house.
To make things a little easier, there are two special symbols that can help you. The red-and-blue Joker can randomly mark off any number in the row above the reel it lands on. The green-and-yellow Super Joker has the power to mark off any number on the entire grid. There’s another symbol, however, which isn’t such a welcome sight. The Devil is a pesky character that prevents a number or symbol from appearing when he lands on the reels.
